Angel of Cross Stitch

This is from a few years ago, back then it used EVERY SINGLE DMC color available! 350 I think! Anyway it was a lot of fun to stitch.. those wings have over 70 colors/shades of grey and white in them! It was from a magazine, I'm not sure which one.

It was from the Cross Stitcher magazine and I started it too (under the premise that I HAD to get all the DMC) Well...I started it and got her face and hands done and that was it for me...she's beautifully done!!! STUPENDOUS work!

Gorgeous! I started this way back...but on aida and then my love of linen took over and my poor angel has languished ever since.

Your work is awesome, Sara!

You brought this with you to the first Tarheels gathering that I attended. I was so impressed with your stitching (and you too). Glad you posted it for all to see.

Aww!! Sara that is just lovely!! I don't know how you managed to have the patience for all the gray in her wings, but GREAT JOB!!! I really like her!
