Blocking Readers??

Okay, so maybe 4-5 times I've gotten comments left on my blog in Chinese writing. I didn't think much about it, since I have been to a few Chinese blogs. Then I clicked on the link, and well let's just say it's not a site I would ever plan to visit! :) HA

So, is there any way to block this certain poster from leaving comments on my blog? I don't want to have to approve everybody's comments, since there is only one that is being difficult!

Any ideas?! I just delete it whenever I get one...anything else I can do?

Thank Ya!

Hey, if you find out how to block them, let me know too! I have gotten loads of chinese site spam on my blog too! By the way, Nordic Needle carries the Inspirations magazine. I meant to comment before but my computer did a brain dump and I guess I must have too, lol! I also have a give-away on my blog right now if you're interested. Have a great day!

Funny how it only takes one. I have had a few of them myself and deleting them is really the only way other than sending a note to blogger to report it. Some would restrict readers by way of setting up an invitation only page but that is painstaking and not as many people come to visit. Delete away.
Be always in stitches.

Are you still getting them with the word verification? I was getting them every day, but they stopped when I turned the word verification on.

My brother told me those comments are generated automatically by some sort of spamming system. They aren't targeting your blog or mine for any particular reason. They are programmed to dump a comment on every blog they can find, and I guess if you make it hard enough for them they give up.
